Join Our Team

At MiA, we are constantly growing to meet the needs of our community. If you would like to learn about job opportunities in our organization and work with a fantastic team of people, as well as help the Latine community, connect with our human resources person at hr@miaspokane.org.

If you feel you identify with our mission and wish to make a difference in the lives of those who have suffered violence, we invite you to join our team of advocates at MiA! With your support, we will be able to continue providing vital assistance to our community, improving the well-being of families, and creating a safer and more welcoming environment for all.

At MiA, we believe in the power of change. We know that with dedicated and passionate advocates, we can continue to empower our community and give a voice to those who need it most.

We are continuing to grow—something our team has in common is a curiosity to learn the "why" and the hope of making a difference in our society. If you identify with this, we are accepting résumés at hr@miaspokane.org from individuals who can fulfill the following positions:

  • Program Supervisor – The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration, clinical care, and educational guidance of staff and volunteers who provide services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. This role ensures compliance with the Washington State Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) Community Sexual Assault Program (CSAP) accreditation standards, as well as trauma-informed care principles. The Supervisor will provide case consultation, performance evaluation, skill development, and professional guidance to enhance service quality, staff competency, and survivor outcomes.

Compensation: $30.00–$34.00 + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Medical Allowance + Retirement + YMCA

  • Advocate – The Advocate will provide direct services and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety planning, legal and medical advocacy, referrals, and case management. The Advocate will work closely with other MiA staff to deliver comprehensive, culturally responsive services aimed at improving survivor well-being.

Compensation: $23 + Paid Time Off (PTO) + Medical Allowance + Retirement + YMCA

  • Peer to Peer Supervisor – In their role as a contractor, the Peer to Peer Supervisor will be responsible for submitting a monthly supervision report documenting hours worked and sessions held, identifying notable trends or issues (excluding participant names). Additionally, they will develop an annual supervision plan aligned with agency values and Washington State regulations, and participate annually in one performance evaluation cycle for each specialist under their supervision. This position has an initial term of 12 months—with the possibility of renewal—and requires an estimated commitment of approximately 20 hours per month, subject to variation based on caseload and the number of assigned specialists.

       Compensation: $35.00–$45.00
